Cheers in Athletics and Art programme 10/11

Under the Cheers in Athletics and Art Programme 10/11 jointly organized by NWFB/Citybus and TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel, the Treasure Hunt in Waterfront Park for participants to enjoy nature and the Christmas Gala "Cake Making" Party to celebrate Christmas were held on 30 October and 18 December 2010 respectively.

Cup-cake Making Workshop

HML, in joint effort with St James' Settlement, organized a buffet lunch and a Cup-cake Making Workshop for mentally-disabled members of the NGO on 2 October 2010.

Fun Race

Under the Cheers in Athletics and Art Programme 10/11 jointly organized by NWFB/Citybus and TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel, a Fun Race was held on 7 August 2010 for 44 mentally disabled residents and 32 members of NWS Volunteer Alliance to play athletic games together.

Art and Craft activity

On 10 April 2010, New World First Bus Services Limited ("NWFB")/Citybus Limited ("Citybus") held the Art and Craft activity under the Cheers in Athletics and Art programme 09/10 jointly organized with TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel. Under the guidance of NWS Volunteer Alliance members, the mentally disabled residents produced a series of artistic creations. The activity was also the closing event of the programme.

NWS Volunteer Alliance supported of Tung Wah Corporate Volunteering Day

In support of Tung Wah Corporate Volunteering Day, NWS Holdings held a volunteering activity entitled "Lead an Environmentally Friendly Life" with TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel (the "Centre") on 13 March 2010. After the Kick-off Ceremony, NWS Volunteer Alliance volunteers rendered their assistance at the Centre, where they played games and made lanterns from recycled red packets together with the participants.

Lunar New Year Party

Under the Cheers in Athletics and Art programme 09/10 jointly organized by NWFB/Citybus and TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel, a Lunar New Year party was held on 27 February 2010. An array of programmes were prepared by 40 members of NWS Volunteer Alliance for 44 mentally disabled residents, including distributing gift bags, singing songs, performing Chinese opera and playing games. Besides, the residents put up a lion dance performance, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
