NWS Volunteer Alliance supported of Tung Wah Corporate Volunteering Day

In support of Tung Wah Corporate Volunteering Day, NWS Holdings held a volunteering activity entitled "Lead an Environmentally Friendly Life" with TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel (the "Centre") on 13 March 2010. After the Kick-off Ceremony, NWS Volunteer Alliance volunteers rendered their assistance at the Centre, where they played games and made lanterns from recycled red packets together with the participants.

Lunar New Year Party

Under the Cheers in Athletics and Art programme 09/10 jointly organized by NWFB/Citybus and TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen Day Activity Centre cum Hostel, a Lunar New Year party was held on 27 February 2010. An array of programmes were prepared by 40 members of NWS Volunteer Alliance for 44 mentally disabled residents, including distributing gift bags, singing songs, performing Chinese opera and playing games. Besides, the residents put up a lion dance performance, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
