Elderly Fun Day
A total of 10 volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance joined the
Elderly Fun Day co-organized by Fong Tam Yuen Leung Social Centre for the
Elderly and Po Leung Kuk. Various game booths, a free medical consultation
service and a lucky draw were provided that day.

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration
In the Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration organized by the Hong
Kong YWCA Ming Yue Multi-Service Centre for the Elderly, our 16 enthusiastic
volunteers not only helped to lead the elderly to their seats, but also serve
food and drinks, play games as well as clear up the venue after the event.

Moon Cake Charity Sale
In order to raise fund for expanding and enhancing services for
the elderly, Po Leung Kuk organized the Mook Cake Charity Sale at shopping
centres during weekends from 24 August to 8 September. NWS Volunteer Alliance
participated in some of its charity sale activities.

Clean-up Services
Over 100 volunteers visited the home-alone elderly living at Oi
Tung Estate in Shau Kei Wan and Hong Tung Estate in Sai Wan Ho to help them
clean their homes and to send them festive gifts prior to the Lunar New Year.
