Through its joint venture company, Sino-French Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, the Group has investments in 24 water treatment projects, a sludge treatment project and two operation and management consulting companies, all of which are located in the PRC and Macau. These projects treat a total of 6.93 million cubic metres of water and waste water per day and 540 tonnes of sludge per day. The Group also invests in a hazardous chemical waste incineration plant in Shanghai with annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes and holds a stake in a 61-hectare landfill in Hong Kong and two strategic investments in Chongqing.
